Rules & Regulations

For your Comfort and Convenience - Please Observe the following:

FIREWOOD NOTICE-DUE TO THE INFESTATION OF THE EMERALD ASH BORER IN THE SURROUNDING STATES, THE STATE OF WISCONSIN IS ENFORCING A QUARANTINE OF ALL FIREWOOD BROUGHT INTO THE STATE. PLEASE DO NOT BRING FIREWOOD FROM OUT OF STATE. FIREWOOD CAN BE PURCHASED AT THE CAMPGROUND.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.
  • 1 unit, 1 family, 1 car per site. "Family" is 2 adults and unmarried children under 18 years of age.
  • Parking is permitted on your site only (not by the lake, pool, game room, etc.)
  • Family and individual behavior is the FULL responsibility of the registered camper. You are responsible for the safety and actions of adults and children on your campsite.
  • All car passes must be turned into the office before 4 P.M. Check out time.
  • Check in time is 4 P.M. Earlier arrival will be an additional $1.00 per hour.
  • Check out time is 4 P.M. Later departure will be an additional $1.00 per hour.
  • All campers visitors must purchase a visitor pass upon arrival at our park. All visitors are welcome until 10 P.M. UNLESS they have purchased an overnight pass.
  • If your pet came along with you, it must be leashed, kept quite, supervised at all times and cleaned up after. Pets are restricted from the pool area and the lake.
  • Quiet time is 11 P.M. to 7 A.M. This means it's time to talk in a low tone, lower volume on radios, TV's and other disturbing noises. Minor children are to be at their campsite. Respect your neighbor and enjoy the evening.
  • Garbage and Recyclables ... There are disposal centers (one for Garbage and one for Recyclables) located by the main restrooms, by the dumping station, by the pit toilets in Green Acres and Westview areas. Take your clean recyclables ... glass, metal and aluminum cans and only plastic with a #1 or #2 on it to the Recycling container. All other is considered Garbage. Please use the proper containers for each. It is Mandatory that we recycle, We need your help in making this a better environment!
  • Keep your campsite clean by picking up your litter, can tabs, cigarette butts, etc. Do not place your grill on our table.
  • Speed limit is 7 MPH
  • 4 Cycle or Electric Golf Carts in good running condition are permitted for overnight campers only if used for handicap purposes. The handicap individual must be on the golf cart while it is in operation. There must be a valid handicap sticker or license plate on the vehicle registered with the office as well as proof of insurance. Additional fees for Electric Golf Carts will apply.
  • Motor driven cycles are to be used for entry and exit of our park only. No Mini bikes or motorized scooters are allowed.
  • No firearms or fireworks are permitted.
  • Trees, living or dead are not to be cut down or damaged in any way. We have firewood for sale.
  • Extinguish your campfires before leaving your campsite.
  • Only messages deemed to be "emergency messages" will be delivered. All others will be posted on the message by the office.
  • A pay phone is located next to the pool. Call 911 if you have an emergency. Please notify the office of all problems.
  • Pool rules are posted by the pool. Children must be supervised by an adult. There is no lifeguard on duty!
  • Please help us keep bathrooms clean! Showers are 25¢ for 5 minutes.
  • Discharge your grey water into a receptacle and not on the ground. State Law! Empty your porta-potty at the dumping station only, not in the bathrooms.
  • Anyone found damaging or destroying park property (buildings, trees, tables, signs, recreation and playground equipment, etc.) will be expected to make full restitution and may be subject to further action.
  • Management reserves the right to ask anyone not in compliance with these rules to leave the campground premises. Management assumes no responsibility for accidents, loss or injury from any cause to your property or person. If you are asked to leave, you will surrender all camping fees. Campers and visitors use all of the facilities and amenities are at their own risk. Hickory Hills Campground Management and staff will try to make your camping experience at our facility secure and enjoyable.
